What color of eye shadows is best for you?

Many women can not decide which colors of eye shadows look best on them. If you are one of these women, we have compiled these guidelines here just for you. One of the main things to remember is that the color of the shade should be a few tones lighter than the color of the eyes.
The main purpose of eye shadows is to highlight the natural color of the eyes. This is why it is recommended that you use natural tones which do not contrast with the color of your iris. One of the basic rules is to choose such shades which are either a few tones darker or lighter than the color of your eyes. Never use shadows in the same color and tone as the color of your iris. For example, if you have dark brown eyes, apply some light-brown tones of shades. They will make your eyes stand out and will add more expression to them.
There are some overall rules which will make your choice easier:
  1. For blue eyes – your colors can range anywhere from lilac and violet to eggplant.
  2. For brown eyes – you can use almost any color. You can find your best colors mainly through the trial and error process.
  3. For green eyes – pale pink and reddish brown.
Combinations you should avoid
Red
Do not put red shadows over your eyelids unless you are trying to create an impression of fatigue. Even the palest red tones can have an aging effect if they are applied close to the eyes.
Too much shine
The glossy, shiny effects are suitable only for evening makeup. Use matted shadows for your day makeup.
More than one color
Sure you can use more than one color of shades, but only as long as you harmonize them correctly. Use a clean soft brush to blend each tone with the one next to it. There should be no distinguishable line between the different colors.
Use a different brush or applicator for each color you want to apply. If you use the same brush, the colors will get mixed and your makeup will look dirty.

The Best Way To Apply False Lash Strips

Hello guys..........I hope you have been finding my beautiful blog interesting and today I am going to be sharing some tips on how I apply my false lash strips. I hope you find it useful and interesting.....'winks'

Best Way To Apply False Lash Strips

1) Before applying your false lash strips, measure the false lash strip for proper fitting of the eye shape. This will avoid the end coming out of the eye or even poking into your eye, you can as well cut out the outer edge to shorten it if necessary with a small scissors.

2) With your tweezer, hold your false lash at the center or you can as well hold both ends with your hands for a while, it is easier and faster and by doing this it would reduce its straightness and make it stay on the eye without stress.

3) Apply your glue (long lasting) for long lasting results not the glue that comes with it please! make sure you put the glue properly on the false lash and make sure it touches the inner and outer corner so it does not come off when you blink your eye.

4) Before placing the false lash on to your lash line, wait for about 5 seconds or so for the glue to become sticky and you can keep blowing hair into it. This would prevent it from slipping around when you are doing placement.

5) Apply the lash directly on top of your natural lashes, not on top of your eyelid please!
then you can apply your mascara at the end so you can blend the natural lashes with the false lash, make sure it is integrated into each other.

TIP: If there is a gap showing between your natural eye lashes and the false one, don't be in a haste to pull it off all you have to do is apply your black liquid eye liner to hide any gap.

The advantages of dark skin and how to create the perfect makeup for it

Different skin tones require different approach toward finding the perfect makeup. Experts say that dark skin is more resilient and therefore more susceptible to decorative cosmetics. Thanks to its higher content of pigments, dark skin is able to better resist the elements. Use the guidelines listed below to help you highlight your skin color.
Foundation
Foundation is the most important part of your makeup and consequently of your whole image. In order to avoid creating the opposite effect and making your face look unnatural, the color of your foundation needs to be only one tone darker than your complexion.
Eyes
Accentuate the eyes. You can confidently pull off dark blue grey, black and brown. Dark colors will complement your complexion. If you’re creating evening makeup you can finish it off with a little bit of shine.
Lips
Dark skin can look amazing with brown or strawberry colored lips. Other good colors for you are: coffee, chocolate, gold, pale pink and beige.
Blush
Blush is the last touch to the perfect makeup. You will have to be very careful in selecting it. Peach nuances are not appropriate for dark complexions, but oranges, corals and pinks are perfect.

How to give yourself a facial massage

There is a lot that can be said about the benefits of massage. One of the main goals of facial massage is to deal with stress and remove tension from the face. The face has many muscles and is the one part of your body where the effects of stress are most noticeable. The bone plates of the face allow for a sturdy but gentle massage.
Facial massage should be done after the application of cream or lotion, because the skin of the face is vulnerable and if it is not properly protected it can easily be traumatized, damaged or stretched. Massage invigorates the skin, improving blood flow and facilitating the production of collagen and elastin.
The five basic reasons for getting a facial massage are:
  1. It removes stress and tension.
  2. It tones the skin and muscles of the face.
  3. It improves facial color.
  4. Enhances the production of elastin and collagen.
  5. Postpones the appearance of signs of aging.
Here are a few simple massage techniques that you can perform on yourself every day after applying your daily lotion.
Neck massage
Stretch out your fingers, but keep them firmly together and use them to massage your neck starting from the bottom and moving up. Use the back of your hand to stroke your neck from the bottom up.
Massage of the chin
Place you left fist under your chin. Use the middle and index finger of your right hand to stroke your chin from the bottom up all the way to the lower lip. Place the index, middle and ring fingers of both your hands on your temples so that you can still reach your chin with both thumbs. Using your thumbs, stroke your chin horizontally moving from the inside out along the jawline.
Lip massage
Purse your lips as if you are about to give a kiss. Use your fingers to smooth out the laugh lines with gentle circular motions. Put your left hand on your left cheek and trace your mouth with the index finger of your right hand. Trade hands and repeat.
Nose massage
Massage your nose and its sides all the way to the area between your eyebrows by using first horizontal and then circular motions. Then move from the side of your nostrils toward your cheekbones and finish at the base of the ears.
Cheek massage
Any time you want to massage your cheeks, you have to secure the skin of your chin by placing a fist underneath it. Proceed with soft circular motions beginning at the chin and working toward the earlobes. Repeat, but use patting motions instead of circular.
Eye massage
Close your eyes. Place your fingertips at their inner corners and, applying light pressure, move them over the lid toward the outer corners of the eyes. Return to the inner corner, but this time use patting motions instead of strokes. Head toward the outer corner again with circular motions done with one or two fingers only. Return back to the inner corner with patting.
Forehead massage
Place the fingers of both hands in the center of your forehead. Smooth your forehead simultaneously moving the fingers of your right hand toward your right temple and the fingers of your left hand – toward your left. Repeat several times and end with a light patting.
