Dealing With Breakouts
Happy New Year guys!
My first post for the year will be on 'breakouts' and the proper ways to deal with it. As we all know, breakouts can be very frustrating and difficult to deal with especially when its on the face. No one wants to go out with a face looking all rough and people asking you whats wrong, it could be very embarrassing. I can vividly remember when I had my first serious breakout, I was so bothered that I tried various things on my face, the frustration only became worse because I was not getting the result I wanted rather it was getting worse each day and makeup could not help the situation.
I made up my mind that I would not do anything or use anything on the face and just let it be. I did not totally ignore it because it was not just any part of my body, it was my FACE. To cut the long story short, after couple of days the breakout reduced but my face was not completely itself as the break out left dark spots. I had to get a spot remover cream to clear the spots on my face. I am sharing this, so you can learn from my mistake and seek better approaches in dealing with breakouts. It is more difficult and frustrating when it is happening for the first time.
Ways To Deal With Breakouts
1. Know your skin type (normal, oily, dry, sensitive, combination).
2. Avoid washing your breakouts too much because it would cause an irritation for your skin and make it even more worse.
3. Avoid trying different things on your face, you won't get any result. It would only become worse.
4. Heavy makeup should not be an option, I understand how badly you want to hide those breakouts but makeup can also irritate your skin. If you still want to wear makeup, just make sure you wash your face properly.
5. Do not touch the face or pick!
6. Consult a professional or dermatologist, don't just use anything you see on the internet.
7. Get some facials, exfoliation done from a good spa.
8. Make sure you clean up, everything that comes in contact with your face MUST BE CLEAN.
9. Eat healthy, drink a lot of water and excercise.
10. Be very patient, trust the process.
I hope someone gains one or two things from this post and please feel free to comment. Suggestions will be welcomed and if you want to share how you dealt with a breakout, please feel free to share. Thank you and God bless.
